... with plenty of people out enjoying the weather. The area where i am staying has a middle east culture, where there are a few bazaar's and markets. Makes for an interesting change.
No i did not go and visit some of the biggest wineries in Europe near Bordeaux, i dont have any interest in wine any more. Plus a lot of the Chateau's had retail outlets in the city.
What a great part of France, really nice polite people living in a great city.
... into our one day here. First, we stumbled on a good coffee place. Important. So after that we just popped into a boulangerie and each got a pastry. Then we went on a tour of exploration and saw so much. Many huge and beautiful churches - one, St Michel with a tall bell tower that we climbed and from the top had a panoramic view of the whole area. And we had fun in Galeries Lafayette where finally I found the Chanel perfume refills that I wanted that don't ...
... A magnificent old church formed the backdrop. Within this cultural circle was an old, outwardly unimpressive cafe and run down looking patisserie. These two places provided us with a genuine, authentic, non touristy French culinary experience. The most amazing cappuccino and pastries you could imagine served by gentlemen who where so French. (funny that)

Unfortunately, we couldn't linger on as Sarlat-la-Caneda called, but we were glad we had time for the brief stop in Saint-Émilion!
... it looked like we were somewhere in Sahara where you cannot see nothing but the sand and the sun: the start point was already lost in the sandy infinity and there was no hope for the end of the treck. Of course, right now I am exegerating the facts: it was pretty exausting but we have gotten a lot of fun a pleasure, it is definitely amazing experience.
