... Josh and I are now well practised at saying `non, merci` and walking on! We grabbed some dinner nearby (delicious, but pricey - 55 Euro for the two of us - 5 Euro for a coke!) then back to the tower for nightfall, when i think the tower really looks even more spectacular - we snuck in just before close and walked up the 680 steps to the second level (mild freak out on my behalf, but i got over it, very proud!) - only 5 Euro ...

I was only able to see about 3 blocks total. <br><br>My choice to come home was a very difficult one and something that I landed on at around 4:30 a.m. There is no question of whether I will be returning or not, but not until I make the needed arrangements so that I am comfortable spending my own money on a trip that I love completely. <br><br>I believe that this experience has taught me how NOT to plan a trip and will only make my return that much ...

... we immersed ourselves in her beauty I don't believe we really understood the infatuation, which for us I feel may become a lifelong love. Our love affair with Paris was enhanced by the amazing welcome and hospitality we received from my cousins, only recently discovered. ... Louvre where we spent a few hours. Saw the Mona Lisa again plus some other things we didn't see last time. Went back to the Champs Elysees tonight to see all the pretty Christmas lights and have just returned from dinner in the Latin Quarter. Still having a wonderful time but we'd definitely forgotten how tiring and expensive these holidays can be. Think we'll sleep well tonight. Will write again soon,

Bonjour, Left a week ago... direction Paris. Got lost many times in the metro, saw the Eiffel Tour, Versaille, le Louvre and walk every little corner in town! I agree, Paris is a wonderful city to discover. I love it! Time to head to Swiss land tonight. Then, once in Geneva, I will take the scenic train to Gstaad.
