      ... we were able to see the lake and the mountains. It was an amazing view. We all got ideas at the front desk and were able to go inside. We took the esculator up the tall building to the top floor. The view got even better.

      So, after almost 36 hours of traveling, we finally made it to Grenoble. We were both pretty exhausted by now. The day is going to be a write off. By suppertime we w ere about dead on our feet. Which was a shame, because we found s great little restaurant just down the road. But we were both too tired to enjoy the meals (roasted duck breast with foi gras and pork mignon with broccoli mash).
