A small scare with my laptop today. i thought it was broken, or at least the power adaptor. my water bottle leaked yesterday in the bag with the charger in (not the laptop) and afterwards and currently the battery won't charge. hence i thought that was it, no more updates, no more gps or iPhone as all these units are charged from the laptop. i didn't ...

It is a shame that they do not publish their names so that we could place comments on their blogs. I realy enjoyed my stay at La Giraudiere and Paul the host was fabulous to live and work with. My stay at LG will stay with me for the rest of my life so go spam on someone else's blog not mine.

It took my breath away
... when we arrived. That is actually so sweet of the French. They miss-kiss greet you even though they might not know you. Vincent came out to greet us and showed us our room. The main building had three levels and we stayed on the first floor to the left. There must have been at least 15 rooms in the building, if not more. Sunshine, peace & good food and drink
... hot to do much else so we found a bar for a drink in the shade and then returned to the site via a Hypermarket to fill the car up with cheap diesel .We head off on Wednesday to Sharon and Alan’s (Sharon’s my cousin) who live near Cahor. We plan on spending a couple of nights with them and then moving down towards the Spanish border.Well I’d better finish this entry as its 5.45pm, 31 degrees and the BBQ is calling, Oh! and a couple of cold beers !!!!
