      ... served i.e. "Cafes Folliet", but mine had lost the top of the 'F' and clearly said " Cates Folliet". Quick research on tables in near vicinity showed their saucers all said " Cafes". Just a coincidence probably, but it did stop me in my tracks. But I smiled inwardly thinking of Cate's mischievous sense of humour. She was very spiritual; who knows?

      ... dinner at the local Talloires Café de la Place. Inside it looks very French and was full as usual with a friendly, happy and warm atmosphere prevailing. We come back here on Wednesday for a New Year's Eve party.       ... vegetables with a light cream sauce over it that was to die for. I sopped up the left over sauce with the bread. Eldon's perch was very good and also on a bed of slivered mixed and steamed vegetables. I ordered fries with my dinner. The meal of so good. It feels really good to be back in France.
