room and then headed out to wander the town and wander down to Lake

En la desembocadura del lago de su mismo nombre se encuentra la ciudad medieval, con el Palacio de la Isla controlando el acceso. En lo alto el castillo domina la ciudad y el lago.
Dormimos en el Hi Hostel Annecy, a 10 minutos dle centro.

We sadly left Chamonix and vowed to return there in the winter, and drove to Annecy. Annecy was kind of a repeat of Prague, beautiful old city, on the water, with canals... we were kind of sick of that scene by then. They are applying to have the 2018 Olympics there, with the ski events at Mont Blanc. It would be a nice venue for sure.

Ok so I am officially the worst blogger ever! Sorry I haven't kept up with this! At least when I get back all my stories will be brand new and no one will have ever heard them! Well today I get my test results back from my last exam. Then tomorrow is the last day of classes! Me and a few other students from CMU are going to go get a HUGE ice cream sundae to celebrate the end of classes! Then on Thursday I will leave for Lyon, France ...
