... carbs and cheese, and called it a successful day.

Cue the alarm at 7am this morning to meet with everyone for our bus to Gruyère. Never in my life have I ever missed my winter coat more. I have been perpetually freezing since being here, and have been sleeping under my sheets in my hostel sheet for added layers. But that's a different story. I assumed when I ordered the car it would definitely have winter tyres, after all we're so close to the alps. But no, not Avis. Plus I've hardly used the car as John has kindly driven me virtually everywhere I've needed to go. John needed repairs completed in Annecy to his hearing ...

... vegetables with a light cream sauce over it that was to die for. I sopped up the left over sauce with the bread. Eldon's perch was very good and also on a bed of slivered mixed and steamed vegetables. I ordered fries with my dinner. The meal of so good. It feels really good to be back in France. Eldon got us a 500 ml. bottle of the house red. We are never disappointed with the house wines in France. I also had a lovely glass of white wine before our ...
