Today has got to be one of the best days in Paris I've had so far, which is saying something considering every day here has been amazing. We were up bright and early to go up La Tour Eiffel, however the changing Parisian weather did not quite work out for us. We'd held out for a sunny day so we could see everything, and the fog obscuring the summit did not look promising. Considering this is Paris though, this was not really a problem. ... idea to keep clear on a wet day. During the afternoon we went out to Monte Matre where we wandered the streets admiring the work of the artists as they worked, we also managed to get caught in a thunderstorm - note to self - ' remember to pack coat even if you are going to Europe in the summer!' Dinner at Chez Allard tonight a traditional French restaurant- food ...

... and skill. I will remember Moulin Rouge for a long time. No cameras allowed so no photos of the show. The person adjacent to Julie did take two photos with his phone but was soon reprimanded by one of the many waiters/ ushers. Not worth the risk. The champagne was dry and MDW avoided it. So after almost two hours of amazing entertainment we got a taxi back to the hotel and retired for the night. She said: I didn't think anything would leave me speechless but ...
