After watching the race and having rested as well as possible on Sunday in Le Mans, we set off early on the Monday morning, wary that our bodies had not benefited from any decent sleep over the last 3 nights. After two late nights in a row we slept in this morning. Before breakfast we spoke to Helen and Amelia via Skype which was great. We tried to explain the time difference between Australia an France and the different seasons we are experiencing to Amelia. Then after our croissant and coffee breakfast we set off for Mont Saint Michel just over the Brittany border in Normandy.

With nearby church bells ringing and a man playing the bagpipes it gave us a wonderful experience. After a quick visit to a local supermarket (where Yoann showed us so many varieties and brands of yoghurt! ) we headed off to Carole's parents farm in the little village of Vergeal.
