... sure if it was an omen but it was very wet and cold there but we did get some photos. It’s a farming area and a very, very, very quiet place!!!

This time we had booked a B&B just outside Fougeres for a few nights but can you image our excitement as we drove up to see a real French Chateau, the Château de Montbrault – see the photo please. ... We walked around the farm (50 hectare) where they have dairy cows, beef cattle and pigs. They also grow wheat for animal feed and have a huge vegetable garden for their own needs. We were then treated to the most amazing 5 course lunch with produce from the farm. Joseph then entertained us by playing the button accordion. What a truly wonderful experience this was and we thank them very much for their hospitality.
