... Thanks for following along, it's been fun and gratifying to know friends and family have been on the trip with us.

Many have commented it was "the trip of a lifetime". Well, yes... but we hope not, more one of our trips during our lifetime. We're already thinking about where to go next.

The Premier lounge at J'Burg airport was great. If you are ever going to spend an extended time at an airport, do it.

We did little shopping while at the airport and discovered that sweets and snacks ...

... substitute for giving your family a big hug or sharing a pint with friends. The weirdest thing about being home is how normal everything is. Once we left the airport behind and shed our backpacks for the last time it was almost like we never left. That whole 300 day adventure is compressed into a memory that feels like it happened to somebody else, in another time. That’s why it’s good to have so many photo’s to trawl through, ...

Another lovely walk with dogs after breakfast. We then pack up for the last time . We drove to the marine cooker spare part shop and then to screw fix , whatever we haven't got now we will have to do without. Then it's off to? Yes you guessed, Old Trafford. When we get there the chap who delivers the passports hasn't arrived. After about 10 minutes of watching a programme about the forth coming elections in Pakistan he ...
