... Bob and Sini. Bob is a retired firefighter like me so lots of common ground there. We walked around Mont St Michele together and discussed our travel plans. Bob expressed that he quite fancied going to Morocco but wasn't sure if he and Ceedie were going to go alone. I felt the same so we discussed travelling to Morocco together, safety in numbers and all that. When I left I met some more motorcycle travellers, a couple ...

... castle stands from the 12th century, really amazing and it's so much fun listening to Ella's take on it all (Why is it broken, HOW old, can we show Gma and Pa). Really beautiful and not a soul in sight! Got to a nice campsite...with a playground AND hot showers! We do have a shower in our van but trying to stretch out the gas means and in and out wash every few days! Lovely spot on the River although it has burst it ...

You can see from the photo that these guys all drove luxury cars so in the parking lot there were Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porches, a Bentley and our Citroen C5. The next day ...

After watching the race and having rested as well as possible on Sunday in Le Mans, we set off early on the Monday morning, wary that our bodies had not benefited from any decent sleep over the last 3 nights. Le Mans camping is a battle against loud music, fireworks and the drone of motor sport - literally at all hours.
So the menu today was a mere 60 miles and we aimed to get to our destination south of Mayenne early in order to rest in ...

Today we started our 4 day trip to Le Mans and back.
We got started at 11am local time having disembarked from the Jersey to St.Malo ferry.
We had lunch in Pontorson and one or two coffee breaks along the way.
We got to Ernee and out hotel at around 7pm French time, exhausted. About 75 miles covered today.
The hotel had messed up our room booking but they managed to put us all in one room. We went out to try and buy some food ...
