... a lot more dilapidated than what we had seen in other parts of the world.

Don’t get me wrong, we have lived in or have visited some poorer countries (Croatia, Bosnia Herzegovina come to mind) and we’ve seen some cities that have recently gone through civil unrest (Mostar, Split and Zagreb, come to mind), but as I said, we have learned to just sink into things and not judge too quickly and let things unfold as they should.

We then went on the bus to the Old Town where we saw the Lovers Bridge. This area is also filled with churches. We went to the Cathedral of St John the Baptist and looked inside, it was bombed during WWII and was restored after the war. The spires were also demolished during the ...

It will have to be printed digitally because they do not have a press big enough for the format we will need. It will help me think outside my normal constraints of size and be able to show my work on a lot larger scale. Anyway - a beautiful old city. Smokes cost about $1.50 a pkt and parking in the city - well you just pull up on the sidewalk and park there. Doesn't really matter which direction either!!

Pedestrian crossings exist ........ but NO ONE stops. Hilarious.........

We had a great look around and did lots of walking.

Now off to dinner for Mothers Day - yummy Rouladen.
