... set menus and he went through and explained everything in both of them to us. I ordered from the cheaper menu which had a mixture of seafood and meat. My entree was amazing! It was a goats cheese mouse with salad and a piece of fish. For main I had the duck and beef, but they were both over cooked. For desert I had creme brulee - delicious, but I'd had so much food I couldn't finish it. Jillian ordered for the seafood ...

... not much to see but it is a convenient stopping place. Found the fishmongers and picked up a lobster for dinner.

Next day wandered back into town and completed a bit more provisioning including buying another lobster, crab claws, languastines and oysters. Much much cheaper than eating out in the restaurants. We're leaving that for dishes we don't normally eat or cook.

We left Morlaix taking the afternoon HW lock and headed south west past Roscoff where we anchored in a very pleasant bay.

The following morning we left quite early and headed for our next destination, L'Aber Vrac'h.

Sailed most of the way which was nice but there was a bit of swell which made the sail hard work, but nevertheless our sailing to motoring ratio is improving.

We wanted to anchor in the river leading to L'Aber Vrac'h rather than use the marina ...

... the night in Camaret, a little seaside town which is really rather nice. I say 'the night'; we'll only be here until about 3am, as we have to leave very very early in order to get to the Raz de Sein, a tricky bit of coastline, within a certain half hour.

After that it'll be much less stressful sailing, and timing becomes less of an issue, so no more getting up in the middle of the night for a while!
