A month since my last post so time for a quick update. Flights are booked (cue fanfare). Four are now set in stone with just the Rio > London one left to bring up to the correct dates. What this means is that we can now start planning for real. So, we have 3 days in Iceland, 39 days in the US and Canada, 3 days in Costa Rica and perhaps 40 days in Brazil. Thats a grand total of 85 days; a week short of 3 months.
Next step is to start booking ...
... was a ride into town on the local bus to go for a couple of pints. Needed to leave the girls alone to sort out the croquettes. Andrew took us around a few pubs and tried to explain the history of York. The only problem was, is he telling the truth or just spinning some porkies. We did come home to some lovely lamb & mint croquettes which were awesome. Oh well off to bed we all ...
... drink out of the fountain. We then sat down and basked in the Tuscan sun. Later that evening we went out to dinner at a nice little restaurant. I had gnocchi with a shrimp sauce. Yummy. Jeff had chicken with a balsamic sauce which he thought was very good . For starters we had mellon wrapped in prosciutto. We walked a bit more around the piazza that evening ...
