Today which much trepidation and after a few paddies, we set off for Disneyland. I was not(!) looking forward to it at all and weather wasn't helping. Grey, damp and a balmy 4 degrees C. Rain was due and I wasn't really sure how I'd cope with walking around forever and lots of screaming small children. Somehow in the first room we got split up, and I thought we would never find each other again, but we finally bumped back into each other, and stuck together from ...

... off to see another set of sites, this time on the ground floor of the bus. It was very overcrowded because no-one could be on the top deck in the rain. A few stops later, a Portuguese family offered me a spot. The father put his daughter in his lap and gave me her seat. I was very grateful. I didn't get much of a chance to speak to them. Firstly, they spoke Portuguese. Secondly, one of their number was deaf because they were signing to each other, and thirdly, they had the ...

... to the drive out to Chinchilla and Roma. Lots of farmed paddocks with power lines running parallel to the road.

It was also interesting to notice the patches of snow on the ground. As we walked inside a servo for a toilet stop there was ice on the ground. It is certainly a step up in coldness.

As we drove into Paris we had much anticipation of seeing the grand architecture and rich history. It was peak hour in Paris as we entered ...
