... at the Lucky Moose here in Walker. The food was great and the bike is hopefully fixed for good. Tomorrow is supposed to be rainy, cold, and windy. Yeah! love the diversity of a good adventure. Marilyn is not happy...but she is going to be a trooper or maybe she will be calling a relative to pick her up. Stay tuned... and see if Marilyn makes it to Lake Bemidji State ...

... the office we go for the third time and Bud and I notice that there are a couple of portable pizza ovens in the office. You would think when I originally ask about pizza delivery, that if you can sell me 2 pizzas and make money; you would tell me instead of giving a tired cyclist a number to nowhere!!! ... Sadly no fish was caught so we headed in for the evening to drown our sorrows. Day two and Eric and I decided it was time to get in the water, the weather was a little over cast so we thought we would make the most of it before the rain set it. This was my first time paddle boarding! So much fun but I was a little shaky on my feet so I decided a little sit down paddle boarding was what I needed. ... missing some key things, like a board for cutting and a knife so we bought them at Walmart. We needed forks to eat the bagged salad, but couldn't be bothered to get the BBQ out to get them since all the plates and utensils are stored in that we tried to eat with a plastic spoon and Ron's pen knife...not an easy task...finally we opted to just stuff the salad into pita bread and eat that way...
