Downtown Cancun is very different to what I saw on the transfer. Uxmal Avenue appears to be made up mostly of garages and sign shops, although I didnīt wander too far. I found a basic little restaurant and ordered a quesadilla, which I remember as being sort of like a hot sandwich but made with two tortiallas rather than slices ...

Oh, and I saw a croc shop... Yes, they have a store that only sells croc footwear, I know that will make some people excited and others nauseous! another seedy morning off to the mayan jungle to go rapelling, zipplining, and snorkeling thru a cenote (underground river/waterhole), was bloody good times finished off with a massive shot of tequila and then nearly a spew...
tour guide was a bit of a weirdo but bloody funny bloke.
