... leg from BK to Madrid,) the plane was pretty full therefore limiting space and our ability to wander as freely. It was also almost wholly spent travelling through a dark sky removing the distractions of seeking landmarks out of the window.

I also found the task of sleeping in the plane-seats pretty challenging and was only able to fall into about four or five brief periods of sleep (albeit, each felt a pretty intense sleep so each time I woke with some extra zip). ...

We had left this last month in Iberia open to see how we felt once we got here. Yesterday, we organised and listed our train travel needs to book today. After a lateish start due to a restless night, we marched off to the station with its massive rainforest internal garden and found the booking hall.
