Wrapping up my Study Abroad

A travel blog entry by amyryush on May 26, 2014

... to save a few euros. We, or sometimes I alone, would wait 40 minutes in the cold, at 4 am in the morning, after a night of drinking to catch the night since I didn’t wish to pay for the taxi. We would stay the night in the airport, like I am doing right now, to catch the cheap early flight. We would walk literally everywhere, apart from Madrid where we had unlimited public transportation access, and eat the cheapest of the cheap which ended up usually being ...

Madrid has so much to offer. The sightseeing was wonderful, the people were very friendly and the food was delicious. I started off by landing at the airport and took the subway to Mafi's. We have 48 hours left in Spain and are planning what to do before the Thursday evening flight to ...

She told me to come back in ten minutes, I did. Sitting on the table was a Coca Cao and four pieces of sugar and butter toast! Luckily it was nice because I was obliged to eat them all.

We went to Wok, an Asian buffet restaurant with 10 of Nat's friends. Everyone proudly ...

With some suggestions from our hosts we started our first full day in Madrid. Instead of taking the bus we decided to walk to Puerta del Sol in the center. It took us longer than I thought it would but we made it. We were on the hunt for churros and hot chocolate along the way but we did not end up stopping. Maybe tomorrow morning we will stop now that we have seen all of the choices. In the Plaza we saw the giant gold Christmas tree being set up. It is ...
