We had a crazy weekend mixed with multiple festivities (including the awesome game of True American), however, kayaking along Saluda Shoals was probably the coolest thing I have done in Columbia yet. This past Sunday on the Winter Solstice, we headed down to South Carolina for a holiday trip to Congaree National Park. Since it’s pretty much a great big swamp, winter is definitely the best time to visit. ... I bet he was the truck parked next to us..... He said,"hey!!" Not in a friendly way but in a wtf way. He then watched me walk back to the cab (I think he was bewildered).
