and took a picture. She then took me to my room and showed me around. I was pretty impressed with the hostel. Kaohsiung seems to have the best hostels. ... startled by the moving figures next to me. It was definitely not fun. I could hear the mechanical parts of the puppets start moving every time and I felt like I was in a horror movie and someone was after me. ... of the most interesting exhibit I have seen so far here was in regards to the Morakot Typhoon devastation that was had catastrophic in Taiwan, killing more than 500 people. The extreme amount of rain created mudslides and severe flooding throughout southern Taiwan, burying the entire town of Xiaolin. They had a 3D movie that depicted the mudslides and flooding and how the entire town was buried. It was pretty heartbreaking. The exhibit focused on the events, ...
