A backpackers wing in a fairly posh hotel (in my opinion) clean, tidy, nice atmosphere, very nice shared bathroom facilities, $2 eggs on toast breakfast meal (but if you want extras like bacon or hash brown they cost extra- $4 for bacon for example). Kitchen a little small and not many cooking utensils, no freezer, and you have to pay a $10 bond to get your own set of crockery and cutlery (stops naughty people who don't do their dishes). Good central location, 5 minute walk to Te Papa, no parking.

clean showers and toilets, and bedrooms. could get quite noisy with rooms backing onto each other. Kitchen small, and have to rent the cutlery etc, small lounge area so not great for meeting people, but a cheap option for a short stay in wellington.

RICK is very happy to be back on land as his parents never enrolled him in swimming lessons when he was a youngster. From here, our sights are …

OK, so if any of you ever come to New Zealand make sure you visit Te Papa, it is amazing! I spent all day there and didn't see it all, I completely lost track of time and before I knew it I was being quietly ushered out at 6pm just awed by the standard of the place. Obviously it couldn't be better than the Natural History Museum in London but its …

Waren …
