I was VERY close to signing up for a volunteer trip to Costa Rica when the Morocco opportunity came my way. After I got back from Morocco, I wanted to make this a reality, so I signed up to volunteer for one week in an orphanage in Costa Rica at the end of February. Its really back on the road for us and only a quick stop here before we head onto our next pit-stop here in Wisconsin, we are also moving fast to see if we can escape the weather, it is starting to get chilly! We hope all is well and are thinking of everyone.

After picking up our cool little Toyota motor we headed up to Green Bay. The Wisconsin countryside is beautiful and made me and Adrian both think respectively of our home countries. I guess it was the farm landscapes. They are beautiful.

We had a nice quiet evening and the next day we went to the wildlife santuary where we saw cute little coyotes, bob cats, a cougar, otters ...

... us were pretty close together. I watched lots of movies and played lots of Solitare. I tried sleeping, but I just can't get comfy enough. Thankfully I had my pashmina along! A very nice extra blanket. We tried to do another "Roman" tour at the Detroit airport - fountains, Metro, lots of people We were very excited to be back in the States.

... remained soaked through out the rest of the day. After ten hours of riding and finally arriving at Mrs. Haines house, I was able to take my boots off and take a hot shower...Thanks Mrs Haines!!!

After the rained stopped it was a very long but for the most part a pleasent ride. 577 miles today. I was pretty tired after the 400th mile.

It was gloomy all day through out the entire rid, but enjoyed it ...

Well, I've started this travel blog a little prematurely, but I'm too excited to keep everything quiet. Trisha and I have officially started saving for our world travel adventure which will begin on the 6th of April 2010. Still deciding exactly where to start our trip and how it's all going to work out. All I know is that it WILL happen. 9 months to go. Until then this blog will help me organize my thoughts, ideas and potential travel destinations. Can't wait to get started.
