... to the east was the most amazing dragon’s back sandstone ridge that includes Boney Mt and the triple peaks. I had considered hiking there but went to MCSP instead – doh! It was a good spot though – I am back here in a month and plan to hike Mt San Jacinto. That is weather dependent though and if the snow is in I will heading back to do Old Boney and the other 3100ft peaks on that ridge.

Bit of a sad weekend all round, as not only did we say 'Bye" to Christine and Paul, but Sunday 30th September marked a whole year since we lost our dear, dear Eileen.
