Rhodes and Symi

Very beautiful old city and ruins. 300 days of sunshine a year. Visited the Knights of St John castle. We have now visited the 7 wonders of the Ancient Greek and Roman world without really trying! Very warm day again but moderately cooler at 31 than they had 3 days ago - 47c. Sailed to Symi this afternoon, a very beautiful town with colourful houses perched on the side of the harbour. All who speak enough English to make you feel incredibly welcome.

Meaning, those French knights be welcomed and find housing at the French house, the Germans in the German house and so on. Walking the street was enjoyable and one does get a feel for the history of the place, but we were most impressed by a little turn-off we made while walking up ...
