      Wednesday
No early start this morning, we didn't wake until quite late, so decided to skip breakfast but we did enjoy a coffee on the balcony overlooking our own little bay.
The sun was out, then hidden behind clouds, then out again so we were in for a mixed day of weather but despite the clouds the temperature was still 26 degrees.
I decided to take a stroll around the grounds, maybe find the message in a bottle or as the walk panned out maybe not !

... to a cookery lesson as well. think they must have heard that Claire has stopped cooking these days!!!

After our evening meal there was a star gazing event on the beach, there was the chance to view several stars through a large telescope, I was in my element, the guide was very knowledgable and interesting and best of all unlike to one we went to in Egypt, this one was free and much better as well.

... I write in French. Jocelyn Prodigue called and asked if he and his wife could come by to chat, and I was happy to agree. They came by around 6:30 in the evening and we got caught up on our news of family and friends and the local situation in Mauritius. Jocelyn said there would be many questions from members tomorrow. They have been deluged with communication, particularly unflattering to me. I told them I understood and that I would appreciate ...
