The sun rose to a beautiful day as we approached Tenerife in the Canary Islands. Arrival time in Tenerife was 11:00 so we had a leasurly morning onboard. The temperatures this morning were in the low 70's, so today was the first day that we were able to eat outside of the Oceanview Café on the back deck of the ship. the sail is due back at 1200
Richard will leave us tomorrow morning and we will top up the water tanks, fill up with fuel (and the 3 x spare 20Ltr Cans) and set off on the great adventure only 2610 nautical miles to Barbados!!!

Well we are finally almost ready for our big trip tomorrow. We leave Casa Ramon at 8am to drive to Santa Cruz for our ferry at 12 noon. We are giving ourselves plenty of time so Ruby can have a good walk before she is put in her cage for the 30 hour ...
