Pre Blog Another day of relaxation on the beach, or by the pool to the hotel Live Blog Well an easy day, a leisurely breakfast and now 10.30 and sitting (in the shade) beside the pool , no Germans here reserving beds, in fact ************e around (see photos) .... At last we hit the coast and we had a morning tea (gelato) stop in the seaside report of Opatija. It has many beautiful old stately homes and sun beds and umbrellas but only 5 metres of beach as we know it and I think that was artificial as it was enclosed in a small ...

Rest week in Piran

... had been well worth the effort. The space inside is enormous and with many great bridges and viewing platforms it was hard to believe the business of the beach was only 45mins away above ground.

We would certainly recommend going to Piran, we loved the weather, the sea and the relaxing holiday atmosphere of the place. This is now easily my #1 pick of the trip so far. A place I definitely want to return too, perhaps on a super yacht next time ...
