It's Friday 24th, so it must be Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, claimed to be "a bit of paradise at the tip of the Baja California peninsular". Very commercial, but nice. We found wifi and had a beer at CaboWabo, a canteen owned by Van Halen's singer Sammy Hagar. I'm sure you all know of him (I hadn't - is this a sign of old age? - nah!) We also saw Denzil Washington's yacht and helicopter. Probably worth over $1M. Many celebs have homes ...

... to the Welk resort - just stunning facilities and set above the ocean with glorious views.. We were met at reception and given a coffee, "sorry b/fast not available yet as all salesstaff are busy" (we were told by the attractive hostess). After us relaxing in the lobby with our coffee , for about 15 minutes the Hostess, all apologetic, came along to say "sorry all our staff are still busy" - but she was armed with our goodies anyway; ...

Woke to the wake up call … then I drifted back to a light sleep. Finally got up around 7-ish and out on the balcony as we were coming into Cabo San Lucas … beautiful morning.

Plenty of time this morning so it was the dining room for us. They had a special today - scrambled eggs and smoked salmon – I got that and it was good …. as well as my usual fruit.

We got our shore ex tickets and no sooner had ...
