Other hotels looked just as good on this stretch but I found it hard to pick a single fault with Hotel Villa Roxana. <br><br>Through the same gates as Villa Roxana is Hotel Villa Nirvana. This has the advantage of rooms facing the ocean but the rooms are no better and come at a higher cost.

As we were boarding the bus we found out that the road half way was cut off, and that we´d have to take a detour! Instead of a 7hr journey to Puerto Escondido, a 10hr journey.... painful!!! We´ll give ye an update on the Surf Town of Puerto Escondido as soon as we figure it all out.
