... turned out well. What more can I say about the wonder of God’s creatures! He is awesome!

For lunch, we walked down Cannery Row to El Torito and had their beef burritos. They were very good, and we got to watch a few sea otters out in the kelp beds in the bay as we ate.

After lunch, we headed for our next hotel, one in Modesto. Tomorrow will be a "pay attention to the car" ...

... place ( I forget the name. There was a yellow Lamborghini outside) only opens by appointment. They then expect you to spend at least 5000 dollars. If you don't then they charge a 1500 dollar consultation fee. Why? Does having surplus money make you stupid or are we, once again, living the Emperor's New Clothes. ... we were home at 7:30. House looks good, but hot. 86 degrees inside so the air was on immediately. Showered all those airplane peoples germs off of me and straight to bed. Had been up about 28 hrs. Dont know how my brother does it. Took some motin and lights out. Alfredo did the same. Will get some groceries today and join the rest of our world again. It was a wonderful trip and after 25 years together, we can still travel and not kill each other. HA Lots of memories ...

We made great time again on the I-5 and detoured to get gas at a Costco and the GPS took us out of the way to get the cheapest price but that proved to be fortunate because we had to get on to the I-99 to get to Modesto and our hotel. THe costco was right beside that freeway so all good.
