    ... expected 2pm check in like me. I asked if I could go to pool area and they said yes. I thought I'd sit with legs in water to get rid of swelling. Ended up laying on pool chair and having a snooze. Had to move when woke up and sun was on my legs. Lots of others from lobby had come out to pool as well and lots had found their bathers to put on. I should have done that. By the time I got to room I didn't need to snooze. But had shower and thought I'd lay around and have quiet ...

    ... yet so we decided to wait instead of going back out in the pouring rain. We waited for about 40 minutes and the guy behind the counter apologized for the delay and then we got offered a free upgrade for being so patient. We ended up with a Dodge Grand Caravan, the ideal soccer mum car,

    ... pm and Vonnie drew the top bunk (because she could leap tall buildings with a single bound) on the double decker. Jan was "gonsky" within 5 minutes of arriving and who knows why - but Julie was showing off doing upside down splits on the bed - lucky Carolyn! A few nightcaps, a few laughs, threats about snoring and other bodily functions, alarms set and lights out. Beauty sleep was definitely needed by all.

    ... The boys had an awesome night getting all excited and yelling "trick or treat". The highlight was two weird dudes standing on the corner of their block draped in black robes and masks and holding a candle, their car was behind them with the door open playing crazy eerie morbid music, it was soo creepy but sooo hilarious!!! Lots of families and laughing kids roaming the streets all dressed up, and sooo so much candy!! Their latest haul ...

    ... had to buy thongs to wear after discovering my serious case of trench foot from wearing wet socks for about 5 hours from the rapids ride. * Tilda did an impromptu ballet performance whilst waiting for the Bug's Life show. * The kids met Donald Duck, Woody and some fat boy character from Up.
