Our first bit of the tour was downtown LA. We were given about 20 minutes not far from City Hall and apparently some building where 'nasty, nasty' people work - the IRS! Me and Fletch then went on the roller coaster which was ok, until it did a loop. I can handle roller coasters but when it loops I get bad motion sickness. By mid morning the heat was incredible. We spent a small fortune on water. Went on one ride which was a large tube ride down a river, it was really hot so it was a good way to ...

... and flowers completely covering the ceiling, huge aquariums filled with exotic fish flanking the entrance to the cafe and decorated displays. We wandered around and we saw a hat we liked, a straw 'cowgirl' hat which had a decent brim for shade. Hmm, we weren't sure. We wandered out again into the brilliant and burning sun, decided a hat would be a good idea and so Cilla bought it. Since that fateful day, it has proved the most useful thing ...
