... have we been up to... Well we have been to Clayton festival which wasn't one of the best we've been to. It was more aimed at children and the night market was only 6 stalls so it wasn't what we expected, we went with Lorena and she thought the same, great if you had children but if you didn't then there wasn't much aimed at adults. The road works on the road between coming into Victoria also slowed us down, with speeds varying from 100, to 80, to 60, back to 80, then to 40 etc. This was great practice for L's manual driving skills as she changed speeds about 3 times every kilometre or so. ... a comedy film. The following day we toured around downtown Melbourne, going to many of the key sites. We went to federation square, watched a bit of tennis on the big screen. Wandered along the river towards the tennis open and took a tour of the MCG. We then went to Captain James Cooks house and took a tour on the circle tram before ending back by the river in a pop up bar for the Tennis Open and drank Pimm's whilst watching a spot of croquet and some more ...

It would be easy to say that seeing the Meanies for the first time in half a lifetime was more than 10% Weird, but being invited by a large strange man to do-si-do during Plan Nein was the highlight for sure.
