I feel the need to rant about traffic in China after spending two hours on a bus moving approximately 1 mile. China has absolutely no traffic system, I mean they drive on the right hand side and have traffic lights so there is a system but it's not followed by anyone just like every other law in China. ... they have very literally built an entire new city across the river from the original Shanghai. What was then served only by a ferry, is now accessible via 6 different suspension bridges over the Huangpu and and 8 tunnels under it. While we were able to capture some pretty cool photos from the boat, it’s the Grand Canyon all over again. You really have to see it to comprehend it.

The next morning, our first stop was the Civil Affairs office to pay the fee and get permission to visit the SWI. The Civil Affairs office is where we met Jane 10 years ago and where we completed the adoption paperwork.
