... in my view, too small to be classed as mountains. The smaller of the hills gives the impression of manmade slag heaps!!

The tourist literature states a notable person born here was Fayez Rashid Ahmed Hassan al-Qadi Banihammad otherwise known as one of five 9/11 hijackers aboard United Airlines Flight 175. I don’t think the Khor Fakkan Tourist Board have really embraced the whole tourism thing that is likely to bring the hordes flocking. I could do ...

I gave him a map but it must not be good enough plus he says the road is closed because it was flooded a few days ago. The sunny skies greeted us as we pulled back the curtains. First impression of Fujairah is that it is mountainous. We were not expecting that as the last few stops we have been in flat lands and lots of sand. This port is very different. There were lots of colorful fishing boats gathered around making a nice photo opportunity.

We canceled our tour as it was to a beach resort. There was a duty free shop near the port, so we ...

... been thousands of people there ... all seeking a little shade and some just sat under the few trees they found to have a picnic ... entire families have barbecues everywhere ... it's the end of Ramadan.

We took advantage of going through "Friday Market" to buy some plants and also a carpet ... Tonight, they just connected us with gas ... Great!
