Well after our nite of car park camping which wasn't too bad really, we felt safe enough to sleep with the doors open so did that and get a reasonable nights sleep.. We woke up nice and early and went to check in but unfortunately our pitch was taken so we had to wait a couple of hours. It became a running joke that the roads were all well marked, with white lines drawn to indicate the outer edges and the median. That said, the roads' width would vary widely, but not the lines, so more often than not the lane in which I was driving was a foot or more too ...

... have done fine with his human GPS skills to get us to Gatallops. It is a tiny village perched atop a hillside. The roads a very narrow, and the whole town has less than 250 inhabitants. He had warned me that the hotel was at the highest part of the village, and that I might have a hard time getting the van to the top of the final very steep hill, as it involved a very tight turn and narrow street. To add to the challenge, once I turned off the main road ...
