... strange to see! We headed back to the hotel for a rest before we had to get ready for our afternoon drive over the desert for dinner and 4wheel drive over the sand dunes. Those who know me well know I really hate any sort of bumpy/ fast ride. I really was not looking forward to being scared, but went along anyway. ... li>In our very nice hotel room I managed to get in an hours snooze before meeting the Arabian Adventures consultant at 1000. We wanted to know where to go for authentic cuisine, jewellery, the tipping rules (unknowingly stingy at the start of our Italy trip 3 years ago until we got the hang of it). We were only interested in the Souk half day trip but she said we were so close to it that we should do it ourselves. Poor girl did not get a sale.
