    ... and finally came to a price point we could all agree on. They started at 1,300 rupees and would take nothing less than 1,100. None of my dickering skills held any sway over them as they could see we wanted the bag and as the last shop open that night, were willing to pay $24 for an Indian made suitcase.

    We purchased the suitcase, ate supper, and prepared for our journey to Wayanad.
