Well, the week has come to an end! There has been laughter, excitement, good food, great conversation, amzing weather (you should see my tan!)and even a scandal! I honestly can´t remember when I have laughed so much (or drank so much, but that is another story). The people have been amazing, and this has definitely been one of the highlights of my trip. Through our conversations and one-on-ones, I have heard a lot about the history and ritual of bull-fighting, the Flamenco dance (including the Sevillana from Andalucia), Quiemada, paella, and so much other information about Spain and the life here (including great places to visit). ... it made us all appreciate how much work had probably gone into restoring where we are staying. When we got back we had a BBQ lunch out on the lawn, though the food was made inside. More of a picnic I guess you would say. They seem to serve a lot of meat here, but the food has been really good (more or less!). It is different having dessert and wine at lunch, but for most people that is their main meal of the day. It means that I am drinking lots of wine this week though!
