    ... to stifle said laughter. Well, we ALL know how well suppressed laughter works…it DOESN’T…..it just gets worse. Well, we were all laughing so hard, tears rolling down our faces. If only you all could have seen his face as he tried to walk into the mirror as if it were a door. I have no idea how many times he hit his nose. Methinks he consumed a wee bit too much of his spirit of choice this evening…heck he may have been at it all day! ...

    ... to see Ronda, is in the evening, after the tour buses leave, and the locals come out.

    Our hotel, the Arriadh, is just outside of Ronda, in the little town of Arriate. The views are absolutely stunning! On a quiet hillside, overlooking the entire valley and mountain range, sunrise and sunsets are spectacular from here, especially from the third floor terrace.     ... we went. Our first goal….the Cathedral. Interesting Gothic church with only one tower. Looks like they didn’t have enough money to finish the second tower. Oh well….better they should save it (no…I better stop there). No, we did NOT go in, outside was plenty nice.

    Second goal – the Alcazaba ruins. SO COOL! Phoenician ruins co-opted by the Moors so one may see a Phoenician column supporting ...

    Later in the day we returned to one of the central squares and watched as people left the bullfight arena. Many of the ladies were attired in traditional dresses. Bob approached one group of four and asked if he could take their picture. They graciously agreed and seemed to take delight in posing for the camera.
