We've struggled with GPS, google earth and google maps to pinpoint the location of our villa in Spain. This struggle has been going on from the first time we found the villa on the internet as a possible place to stay and continued up until we came to the wrong address via our car GPS yesterday. After some research this morning, Jim finally figured it all out. Our house number is: 3 Our street address ...

About mid afternoon it started to rain. We played cards and watched Spanish TV. The first day of rain that kept us in in ...

Caught the train to Ronda at 12:45pm. Very pleasant 3hour trip and we were staggered by the number of olive plantations - as far as the eye could see and almost the whole trip. Checked in to Hotel Paradores, and realised we had left our passports and my purse in the safe at Granada. What more can go wrong!! Di decided we needed to rest and have a G and T ...

It was time to rent a car and see the countryside on our own. This time we brought our GPS, which has been very helpful. The only problem we have is that the voice on the Garmin is English speaking and she butchers the Spanish street and town names. Once, when we got on a road called MA 502, she called it Massachusetts 502. Oh well, at least we have not gotten lost, and that is saying a lot for us.

We drove to Ronda, one of the many pueblos blancos, "white towns." ...
