    Beautiful Bruges

    ... out of focus. Zut! However, it is said to be the only Michelangelo
    sculpture to ever leave Italy, bought and shipped to Bruges in 1504 by the
    weathy Belgian who is buried under it.
    The sculpture is very like the Pieta in St Peters Basilica in Rome,
    although about a quarter of the size.

    And that’s a wrap on another action-packed day. Up next: WW1 battlefields.

    ... Brussels around 430. Again we arrived in the dark and drizzle but our hotel was so cool! This one was about 20min walk out from the main city centre square but we were on our own little square and went for a beer before dinner. I have to say, I think I won this one was as well. Shane ordered what I had the previous night but my Belgium meatballs were amazing (served with fries of course!) we then headed back to our super comfy bed in time to watch ...
