... and thank god we did!!! That was our train, an already full to the brim train which had people sitting/standing all through the aisles of the train. Al and I were shoved in the back next to the toilet with 4 other girls from Norway and 7 guys from Spain in a tight space of 2m by 1m and then a little bit of the hallway.
The next 5hours were looking very promising at this point. The Spanish guys were blasting tunes that would be played ...

Then we moved onto to kecskemet which is further south, we had a couple of nights here and discovered an amazing market full of local fruit and veg and not a tourist in sight :-). ... it’s not a beach. It’s fenced off area next to the lake, where they have dumped a bit of sand, but mainly it’s grass and trees with a children’s playground, and a few fast food joints! I stayed at the beach for an hour or so, reading my book, and I realised that I didn’t hear a single word of English – everyone was Hungarian or German.

After a shower it was time for another lonely dinner, the downside ...

The temperature of the water was around 32 degrees Celsius. We swam around using the wooden supports structures so we would not drown ( no floaties to help us ). ... 8217;t be acted upon. The place we found we practically a camp-ground anyway. A little clearing in the trees, it looked like a place people regularly use judging by the rubbish and short flattened grass. The mosquitoes here were unbelievable, there were so many making their sound so loud even from outside the tent it sounded like they were inside.

We are very excited at the thought of making it to Sankt Marein bei Graz this afternoon - we were up earlier ...
