What a great place to stay. Its the coldest day they've had here in 2 decades yet its still warm enough for the kids to swim. It has 2 jumping pillows, 2 pools, 2 spas-1 hot- 1 cold and a water park, a putt putt golf course, table tennis, pool table, basketball court and a bicycle track and most of the activities are free with refundable deposits for equipment hire. The park is beautiful with lots of trees and plants and grassed sites. The facilities are so clean and there are lots of them. The kids are loving it therefore so are we.

The best Caravan park we have started at hands down. Aimed at kids and families. So many things to do without leaving the gate.

Stayed 4 nights on ensuite caravan site. Excellent facilities. Our caravan is now in the storage facilities whilst we travel to Cape York. The reception staff were very good and helpful with organising my different bookings.

This place is a total resort experience. We were upgraded to an ensuite site on arrival which was the biggest ensuite we have had in our travels so far. The playgrounds, pools and other facilities are enough to keep parents and kiddies busy on any Cairns Holiday. We will be coming back.

Great facilities for families with plenty of kids activities. Staff were very accomodating. Camp kitchens and cooking areas had plenty of space. Campsites were green and clean. Recommend the on-site fish n chips with Barrumundi as the fish served at fair prices. Would stay at this location again.

Great place for the kids to have some fun for a bit. Great facilities, although I think it's rather overpriced, with it costing $68 per night, and that's without having to pay for Beth, from her next birthday, we'll have to pay for her too, so needless to say, no more big 4's from then on!

Time to get back on the road. We left Mission Beach early with our much cleaner and emptier camper – we have spent a large part of the week clearing it out, finally getting a vacuum cleaner into it and leaving a whole lot of unnecessary stuff behind in the garage.

The boys were very excited to get back to the Big 4 Coconuts in Cairns …

We left Airlie Beach early this morning for the big eight and a half hour drive to Cairns. We passed through Cardwell where we saw photos and evidence of Cyclone Yasi that ripped through years ago. The locals say it was the day the "beach came to town" with sand covering the roads up to the windows and doors of the shop fronts! We set up in Cairns …

Today we did our final shop for our trip I was glad I prepared a list earlier as it didn't take long to get everything we needed. The rest of the day was spent watching the kids in the water park and riding the trikes around the park. Stayed at the Cairns Coconut Holiday Resort which is a 5 star caravan park and has heaps of activities for the kids.
