After about 15 minutes on the train, we were in Delft. Delft doesn't really put it's best foot forward at the moment. They are building a new train station at the moment, so using the old one involves a long passage through construction barriers. But once we got into the old city, Jola and I agreed it was quite charming (leaps and bounds ahead of the Hague). We got there a little later in the day (after 4), so we ...

The office used to be a cathedral and then was converted to a hospital and eventually into ...

BUTTTTT the bacon....huh...I've already given up, it was this puny, raw, little piece of meat that tasted like sweet ham, umm yeah no. Talk about opposites, thick slices of goat cheese and rubbery Bacon!
Either way it was very good, afterward we walked some more toward the city center. Saw a few churches from a far (they're ...

... and grasses. We also walked more in the shorter trees which gave us slightly more protection from the wind. Every so often we had to turn on the GPS to see if we were still heading in the right direction. When all the trails are sand and trees it can start to look the same.

The best and scariest part of the hike was when we ran into some wild horses. We saw three at first but as we continued to approach them we saw there were well over 20 in total. ...
