... Kerk. Buried here is Johannes Vermeer a Dutch painter whose most famous painting is Girl with a Pearl Earring. Almost everywhere you stand in either church are tombs of people buried in the church. The Oude Kerk had beautiful stained glass windows that tell biblical stories.

The beautiful thing with the Utrecht-Delft train route is that it doesn't exist as a direct line, so you have to go via Den Haag, so - not knowing whether what I was doing was actually train ticket fraud or not - I hopped out at The Hague for a poke around to get double the Dutch towns for my money.
