... ve done excellently! Anyway, we followed them out to the first junction point (which is the way we should have arrived the other day!). Then they went on ahead and we went a bit more slowly. Didn't take us long to lose our way. Once again, the signage just wasn't there. Anyway, we consulted the locals once again and headed in the direction of Delft. We saw the Ibis shuttle pass by a few times but no Novotel bus despite signs to say that they were expected. Eventually we found that the Ibis bus would take us. On the way to the hotel we passed the huge single level car park that stretches for kilometres. After ...

... I’m sure if you had an eye for a good buy you could pick up some great bargains, however, we were very restrained and didn’t buy anything as much as we would have liked to. We visited the Vermeer museum and spent an interesting few hours learning about this most wonderful painter. Vermeer was born, lived all his life and died in Delft. His paintings reflect his love of this beautiful town as well his fascination with light and at the museum ...
