... and full lunch . MayaWalk also offers to Caracol and Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve for roughly same price.

Ride back from Belize to Panajachel was cramped! I walked across the border- Belize to Guatemala- found a shuttle to Flores, Flores to Coban, stayed one night, and Coban to Antigua, then Antigua to Panajachel. In total, probably 19 hours in vans, for which one of them I was so squished that if I didn't have the window open for my left ...
San Ignacio, Cayo, Belize yoomster... restaurant really gave him what he wanted. He had a bit of difficulty getting some of the food down but enjoyed every second of it. We also made friends with our waiter Abner Swift who pretty much told us his whole life story during dinner. All in all it has been a very good day. Tomorrow we will have a pretty trying day as we are doing a somewhat advanced caving tour. Rachel is a little bit nervous about it but we are sure all will be fine.

San Ignacio, Cayo, Belize seraphim50... but most of his advice was to chill 'take your time' and 'look at your ball'...after a rocky start I somehow managed to beat the guy and to raptuous applause stayed on the table!!! Sadly my next game was against my master - it wasn't a total whitewash but he did win convincingly. We didn't stay too late, because we seem to get tired very early here. I think this is because it gets dark so quickly at about 7pm... and then we just start thinking that it's really late ...
San Ignacio, Cayo, Belize sarahelective... exact places the Maya had been, completely
untouched for centuries. At the furthest point of the cave, we had to
climb a 20 foot ladder which wiggled as we climbed. At the very top
was the ‘Cave of the Crystal Maiden’ which had a completely
intact skeleton of a young woman and a boy, thought to be about 8
years old. Beyond her was a complete wall of crystal limestone.
Although the cave would go on for several more miles, that was the<br ...
San Ignacio, Belize sarainbelize... amazing and I was looking forward to it straight away.! We went to a local Italian place for dinner - they were a bit short staffed when 11 of us rocked up for dinner and the owner had to call his wife to come in and help but they were fantastic and so accommodating. Great food - the vegetarian pasta was excellent. I checked a few emails later then cruised off to bed to get things sorted for our caving adventure tomorrow..
San Ignacio, Cayo, Belize chooklotto... since), that I'm not 100% certain of my facts. I've checked existing online material for some bits I couldn't remember, but don't take this as a reliable source!** The first of the structures we are to explore is the palace. We ascend some stairs and pass through a gap into a grassy courtyard with a larger building ...
Xunantunich, Belize racinghippo... to a counter presented my passport and after a 5 minute wait while the attendant pretended to be checking something on me, the obligatory illegal 20 quetzales bribe to get in and bosch done. Into quatemala. No customs! Why? Maybe they dont need them as why would you smuggle anything into Quatemala. It's got pretty much everything illegal anyway! I thought mainland Belize was quite rundown but it didn't prepare me for what I met over the river seperating the two ...

Belmopan, Belize hrpitschmann... fully, and the sight of fresh fruit wakes us salivate as much as Pavlov's puppy. Travel story of the day: when we arrived at Belmopan to get the last bus on to San Ignacio both of us were in need of using the toilets. Veronika went first while Marcos defended our seats on the bus. While Veronika was away a caribean lady selling sandwiches came on board. She was singing her sales and very happy and talking to everyone. When she got to Marcos she said with all the ...
San Ignacio, Belize veromarcos... from the falls flows into the first pool and held myself in place with my arms as the current tried to blow me away. This was a good idea. Deciding to let go and having the current slam my hip into a rock was not such a good idea. A bit bruised, but otherwise perfectly happy, I swam around the first pool for a bit before attempting to slide down the small rapid between the pools. This was also not ...
