... an accordion, a guy singing and screaming in a death metal voice… and a trumpet playing these passionate solos that sounded a bit like gypsy/East European style… It was a really cool experience… something about the passionate music, mixed with the cheerful mingling going on in this packed, back alley of Rimini could only be described in four words: I love this country. Finally the concert ends and I head on my way. But my night is far from over. I ...

Continuing with my little stress relieving day trips, last weekend I went with a few of my friends to San Marino. Although located in Italy, San Marino is technically a separate country. After a light breakfast at our B&B we set out to catch the bus to take us to the Marina di Revanna a visit to the Adriatic Sea. In the courtyard of our B&B we ran into the owner and discussed our plans for the day. He suggested we ride bikes, of which he had several to borrow for the day. He described a very nice bike trail that would take us most of the way. Being ...

We woke to a sunny day in Italy today. After breakfast at the hotel in Verona we set out for Ravenna. Ravenna is about hundred miles Southeast of Verona. The drive out of Verona was a bit tricky and took awhile to manage with all the construction in town.

The drive to Ravenna was relaxing as traffic in the highways was fairly light and the drive went quickly. We found our accommodations in Ravenna with little problem. ...
