... stairs and led on sofa. This was about 3 am. I read until about 5 and finaly feel asleep stll on the sofa, with two cats wrapped around my feet and the girl that worked the night shift had given me a blanket!
I woke up again about 7 am with the smell of freshly baked bread and cake, so I decided to get up and have breakfast and then go back to bed and try and get a little more sleep. I finally dozed off about 8.30 am!!!
In keeping with the theme of the lads befriending middle aged men on this trip...me met a Brazilian football agent (Francesco) about an hour after arriving in Sao Paolo
This lad had his own driver..and reckoned he had a bit of clout around the place so he promised to show us the best Sao Paolo had to offer…we thought what's the worst that could happen!!

... i met Seuli again and we ventured out to a town called Embu which used to be a more traditional village and is famous for its artists and handicrafts. On the way we went to churrasco restaurant...and oh my god, meat lovers prepare to get very jealous....it was just the best steak (and others tbh) that i have ever had. There is alarge buffet of salads and sauces and what not, then all the meat is served on large skewer- you have a dial on your table with a red and green ...
I am at Sao Paulo airport. I have had a manicure and pedicure. Eaten at a nice restaurant/steakhouse, just so I could use the bathrooms for a clean up. I'm 24+ hours into my 48 hour journey to Cuba. Now in the 6 hour stopover in Sao Paulo....
I am weary, so I hope this entry makes sense.

So far I've been here less than 12 hours and the staff has been great, English speaking and extremely helpful under less than ideal conditions due to events in the surrounding area.
