All packed and ready to go by 11.00 a still left a little late. No trouble on the roads and swift service for lunch in the pub so arrived in good time at the parking. After traveling for 33 hours I made it to Bristol!! Found some foods and drinks after checking into my hotel! I only.slept 4 out of my 33hrs of traveling so I crashed nice and hard and hopefully that helps with the jetlag! I slept for 14hrs straight!!! Now to orient myself on Birstol! ... a few years earlier. The thing that we noticed driving up was a huge Full Moon hanging low in the early evening sky. Lunacy sprung to my mind and I had an inkling of what was to follow.

... National Trust. Only about 4 buildings were used in the films. See my review of the Talbot Museum for more information. From Lacock we drove to Newport in Wales. It was a 60 minute trip and I was surprised how close it was - I guess I am still used to Australian distances. There is a toll bridge across the River Severn which costs £6.20 to use. I hope there isn't a similar toll to return but I won't be surprised ...
