New Orleans
We set out in foot for the 2 mile journey into town, seeing some of the real New Orleans - very poor, very run down and certainly very unfriendly to pedestrians! Had some drinks in the French Quarter, including a very nice microbrew and the classic 'hurricane' slushie. Zoals al gezegd is de chronologische volgorde een beetje verlaten, maar we lunchen vandaag in de 'Kewanee 1 Stop', een echt truckerscafe met een 'vette bek'-keuken en een tandeloze serveerster.
