Quepos, Province of Puntarenas, Costa Rica vera_und_alex... was probably not the safesty thing to do. Ah well. We spent another uneventful overcast day in Quepos and the nearby Manuel Antonio national park, including dinner in a restaurant made from a converted bomber plane, before we decided the pacific coast sucked and returned to the carribean sea!

P.S if these blogs seem short its because where normally one long entry would do, there is no way on here to plot out each individual destination. Hence the mini-entries!
Quepos, Province of Puntarenas, Costa Rica rahulandben... our ourses, oth**wise: Ciao money, ciao cam**a! They are so mad, becoming really agressive, if you dont give them, what they want!! *argh* But we really enjoyed this beautilful surrounding, the blue wat** and tropical forrest (watch out for falling coconuts*g*), the sun and silence, since we w**e almost the only ones at the whole beach! If you would find such a beach in Europe or elsewh**e, it would be totally crowded with people!! On ...
Quepos, Province of Puntarenas, Costa Rica aileenchen... and beach bags as there are thieves of both animal and humankind. There is a little river between the private beach and the public beach. Our guide, Leo, told us to take a boat (men are there waiting to give rides) rather than wading because there is pollution and caimans. Kevin and Kristen went on a sunset cruise so they could snorkel. We ...
Quepos, Province of Puntarenas, Costa Rica lauriesnym... keeps up I'm gonna buy some lottery tickets. It should surprise no one who has ever traveled with me that I already want to live here. I usually come to this conclusion about 38 minutes into the drive from the airport, wherever I go. But this time I really, really mean it. There's something magical about this place. The old cars with faded, blotchy paint, rattling down the narrow roads or slumping over their axles on the shoulder seem, against the verdent ...
Puriscal, Costa Rica espriseme... into the mountains to visit some spectacular waterfalls. Was very cool, though the ride was a bit rough (I imagine lizzie wasn't too pleased). Stayed there for an hour or two, and forwent (past tense of forego?) the planned picnic of chicken on the run and black beans in favor of returning a casa for lunch. Met quite a few interesting people, and now have more contacts in foreign countries than I did before. Maybe if I get to go to ...
Quepos, Costa Rica punkinhed7Hola! We've been here almost 2 weeks now so we're pretty settled in. We now know where to shop for most of the things we need and especially enjoy the Saturday market for fresh fruit and vegetables. It's still 25c inside and almost 30c outside every day and humid. No rain since last week. We spent Ted's birthday watching the NY Giants beat the Green Bay Packers in the last 43 seconds, much to Ted's disappointment, at the ...

Quepos, Costa Rica danie83... Having made sure Louise got on the plane we were then at a bit of a loss so first went to a book fair in the old part before visiting the cinema, our first time on this trip. Saw a funny yet very violent film called "Crank". We had the heaviest rainfalls that we've had all trip while Louise was with us (it is the rainy season!) but every day seemed to have sunshine and laughter anyway and most importantly for her, she managed a bit of a tan! To recuperate after ...
Antigua Guatemala, Guatemala joyceanddave... wrapped in a plastic bag the entire night. We teased him most of the night about it, although his other nickname was "Whitey". Today was our day of rest, but we still went back out to the beach, did some body surfing, and Michelle and Mathias got some full body massages. For lunch we ate at a restaurant that was called "El Avion", and was made out of part of an abandoned airplane. I expected it to be too expensive to eat at, but surprisingly ...
