San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica, is surrounded by many small, charming towns and picturesque hills. Many of them are covered with coffee plantations. We took the time and visited the lovely towns Grecia, Sarchi, Naranjo and Zarcero.

... time while the kids played with Rubik's cubes for 4 hours. I'm pretty sure I fell asleep. Actually, I did. It was kinda strange. Observation: the teachers don't stand up in front of the class when teaching. They stay seated at their desks and talk from there. And the rooms are so loud!
