... Mexico. We waited an hour for the next shuttle van to take us to Palenque, Mexico where we could catch buses towards the coast. Our hope was to get the first bus from Palenque to San Cristobal and then jump on an overnight bus right to Puerto Escondido and be in the water for a morning session. When we discovered that the next bus wasn't for three hours and that it was "impossible" to make the night bus from San Cristobal we were crushed. Another day ...

... the evening - the next day was just as hot as the last one so Elle, Fonz and I packed up in the Lariot and took off to the beach to swim in the not so cold water and eat breakfast.
