... 347;nie. Biegał z wywieszonym językiem i ciesząc się jak dzieciak. Trochę nim targało, ale dał radę. Potem przyszła kolej Moni. "Z pewną taką dozą nieśmiałości" nasza zawodniczka podeszła do tematu, pobieżnie oceniając warunki pogodowe i odnosząc je do swojej, w gruncie rzeczy, mało imponującej masy. Wszystko było jednak super, a Monia cieszyła się ...

... we sat and had a couple of beers while waiting for a Danish friend of his to arrive at the train station. Her and I were going to share the living room that evening but luckily David had borrowed an extra air mattress. Once we gathered her from the station, we walked back to the house and all ate leftovers from the stir-fry and had quite an animated discussion about education and teaching (she was a teacher) before heading off to bed. I was going to Lagos in the morning.

Beach Day

... I set up the umbrella I borrowed from him and put out my sarong and then lay there, alternating dipping in the ocean and reading. After several hours, he came and we stayed on the beach for another hour or so before we caught the last bus home. We stopped at the grocery store on the way and I cooked that night, veggie and chicken stir-fry. We hung out at David's place drinking porto wine and talking.

Heading to Faro

... research project at the university in Faro. We walked the 20 minutes from the train station to his house. His place was a pretty spacious and very clean apartment and the breeze wafting through the windows was wonderful. Right across the street lived a pretty settled-looking gypsy compound, but David assured me that they were harmless. After setting up my air mattress in the living room and chatting some, I fell asleep.

Day 8 - Going south-south-south!

... not, so we didn't hurry to get past Sevilla. They were fans of Jackson Five and we were listening to their CD the whole way. It was fun! We get off at a gas station about 40 km before Sevilla.

Next, we get a ride to Jerez de la Frontera with Alan and Marie. They were also in Vilamoura this morning just like us. Too bad we didn't meet them already before.

Today we have been getting mostly small jumps and the trend continues ...
